The Capers’ team has been working together creating culinary experiences for groups and individuals since 1982 while working for the Little Rock landmark restaurant and entertainment venue, Cajun’s Wharf. Capers Restaurant on Hwy.10 in Little Rock the fall of 1997.
Capers has become notable in the circles of food and wine enthusiasts since we opened. We have won many accolades for Best Outside Dining, Most Romantic, Best Wine List and many others. We have also been the recipient of Wine Spectators Award of Excellence 14 years running.
The once manager of the now closed Cajun’s Wharf, Dan Kovach assumed ownership and management of Capers Restaurant in 2021, after working with founder, Diamond Chef of Arkansas and Restaurant Proprietor of the Year Mary Beth Ringgold for over two decades. Dan carries on the legacy and tradition that Mary Beth set forth and ushers Capers and the Market of Capers into a new era.
Our Market at Capers is a fantastic culinary endeavor. It is a beautiful, gourmet-to-go, fresh-market concept with a wide array of delicious products. The Market is located directly behind Capers Restaurant and features gourmet specialties along with our private recipe sauces, dressings, dips, soups and casseroles.
